Generally, “seminars” are open to the public whereas “workshops” are specifically for special interest groups (some examples may include: military combatives, control and restraint for security and members of An Garda Siochana, women’s self-defence parties, conflict management in hostile work environments for companies and organisations, child safety for youth organisations, anti-bullying for schools, workplace violence prevention, rape prevention for women, etc.).
